Fall Time Fun

Despite it being eighty degrees on the regular here in NC, fall has officially arrived! I am so, so, so excited that my favorite season has returned. The arrival of autumn brings vibrant hues painted across the foliage, scary movies, and, my personal favorite, pumpkins! To celebrate this obsession, I ventured over to a local pumpkin patch and apple orchard called Grandad’s Apples with Christian! It was actually a spur of the moment choice to get pumpkins, but it was such an adventure! We found two perfect pumpkins and purchased them before decided to try our luck with the corn maze. Despite the hellish heat, we made it out alive. We also had to try the amazing sweets the orchard offered, including Apple Cider Donuts. Yum!
For this occasion, I styled a look that works well when you don’t want to sweat to death but still want to have a fall outfit. I wore my favorite pair of jeans from UO (similar) with a darling tee from Madewell. I also wore my new obsession: my Nike AF1s! I used to not like them if I’m being honest, but now I’m in love! They go with everything! Lastly, I wore the cutest cable-knit sweater from Target. When it was hot out, I threw it over my shoulders. I absolutely adore this look and I can’t wait for the cool weather ahead.
