Recently I’ve taken great inspiration from something I used to not be fond of— the “cowboy” aesthetic. While my dad has been in an old country band for quite a while now (you can visit their website here), I only recently have been incorporating some of that style into my wardrobe. Adding small touches, whether it be a cool cowboy hat or a pair of those trendy cowboy boots, can make an ordinary outfit so much cuter (and cooler)! Recently I even picked up the most adorable cowhide purse— something I can’t wait to style in an upcoming post! In the outfit I’m sharing today, I wore my dad’s vintage cowboy hat to add a bit of flair. I paired that with a simple top from Urban Outfitters (it’s currently on sale) and the coolest pair of jeans from Marine Layer (also on sale). I love these jeans because I got them when I was up in D.C. last fall. Every time I wear them I’m reminded of that trip! I also wore some boots (similar) and a blazer from Forever 21. I really love this look and I can’t wait to incorporate more elements of this style into my wardrobe.
